These storyboards were for three scenes for a classmate’s short film, Family Recipe. The story follows an older princess looking for her true love while being tormented by her squirrel friends. She finally decided to take revenge on the squirrels and finally finds her Prince Charming.

The three scenes I storyboarded here, are the opening scene of Denise waking up, getting revenge on the squirrels, and preparing for the prince’s arrival.

The film is CG which was very freeing as the medium doesn’t have as many limitations such as stop motion or even 2D. Despite this, I wanted to keep things simple and effective to tell the story in the best way possible. I had some fun with some new shots and added more comedic moments to make sure some scenes didn’t come across as too mean-spirited.
