Between May and June of 2023, I created background artwork for Rosanna Verdon-Roe’s MA grad film, Frogsporn, an educational documentary-style animated short about frogs and their mad sex lives.

I created all 12 backgrounds for the film, inspired by Cas Van Der Pol’s backgrounds for his Recapped animated series. I wanted to portray the swamp where the frogs live as fun and as bubbly as possible with interesting compositions that fit within the theme of the film.

Frogsporn was an honorable mention at the 2023 Student Impact Film Festival.
