I was commissioned by Levi Strauss and Co. to create some comic pages for staff training purposes. These comics depict an expert stylist showing how to perform certain tasks to Levi’s standard. I made three comics over the course of 18 months.

I was given full creative control with this comic, the only guidelines being it needed to be A4 in size and have between 6 to 8 panels. The style and the character design were totally up to me. I wanted the comic to be in black and white as it would be easier to print and I wanted to give it a retro style to celebrate Levi’s history and 150th anniversary.

These comics was distributed across all Levi stores in both the UK and Europe.
